Data and Banana Protein Flapjack Recipe

Try this easy to make date and banana protein flapjack recipe from one of our in house personal trainers. Great for a healthy snack and energy boost!

Ingredients:

500 grams of dates

200 grams of oats (gluten free if needed)

3 bananas

2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

2 teaspoons of cinnamon

Optional: 3 scoops of vanilla flavoured protein powder

Makes 6 servings

 

Directions:

Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees

Soak the dates in hot water for 5 minutes than put into food processor along with water used to soak the dates and bananas to make a puree. Put into a large bowl and mix together with the oats, vanilla extract and cinnamon. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes until golden.
